Dallas —Febuary 20, 2018 — Executive coach, speaker and author Neena Newberry was named one of the recipients of the Dallas Business Journal’s 2018 Minority Business Leaders Awards.
The awards, presented in February 2018, recognize “minorities who are instrumental in their organization’s success or who are leaders in promoting diversity” according to the Business Journal.
Newberry was one of thirty honorees. She was recognized for her leadership of Newberry Executive Solutions, a firm that helps leaders — particularly high-performing women — develop and accelerate business results. “Our class of honorees represent the best of the best in North Texas,” said Traci Merzi, publisher of the Dallas Business Journal.
A former Deloitte executive, Newberry emphasizes simple, proven solutions. Over 75% of her clients get promoted, and her client companies have included AT&T, Shell, Sysco, McKesson, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
The Dallas Business Journal also honored Newberry in 2016, when she was among the recipients of the Women in Business Awards.
